This is a standard 2 colour eye make up make over.   The colours that Naturally Safe Cosmetics have chosen, are neutral colours, you may wish to experiement with a variety of different colours.

Start by cleaning your face in your usual way, then apply foundation to smooth the texture of you face.  If you don't normally wear a foundation, you don't have to start now.

What you need

Lets get started

Eyebrows

1

First shape your eyebrows. Your natural eyebrow line, will usually trace your upper eye socket from the inner to the outer corner of your eyes and stops in line with the base of your nose.

2

Brush eyebrows in their natural direction, if they're a bit light, use a brown eyeliner pencil or your dark brown eyeshadow sparingly.

  • have your brows plucked professionally, and then touch up as needed with tweezer.

Eye shadow

3

Apply your dark eye shadow to the base line of your eye lid, using a small flat brush.

Natural Mineral Eye Shadow

4

Using a round, full sized eye shadow brush; apply the light eye shadow blending up toward your brow bone

5

With your small flat brush draw a V-shape in the inner corner of your eye (around the tear duct) with the white eye shadow

6

Apply a small amount of shimmer powder on the lower lid, ensuring that you don't go below the line of the lower eye lashes.

7

Using a small flat brush gently blend a line of your dark eye shadow along the crease of your eye lid. Blend with full sized eye shadow brush

8

Finish eye shadow with a light brush of shimmer over the whole eye lid, but focusing on the outer lid, just below the brow.

Eye Liner

Natural Mineral Eyeliner & Mascara

9

Start from the inner eye and gently trace the line of your upper and lower lashes.   To widen close-set eyes gradually thicken the line toward the outer top level.

  • Your pencil needs to be soft so that it glides easily along the edges of your eye lids.

  • If you're having trouble applying your eye liner, gently pull your eye lids taut.

Mascara

10

Remove all excess shadows and powders before you begin applying your mascara. A clean kabuki brush works well.

11

If you use a curling wand, curl your lashes before you apply mascara. Apply mascara starting from the hair roots.

  • to thicken eye lashes, apply a fine layer for translucent powder prior to applying mascara
